Accelerate with Google is a program that equips SMB businesses with web tools and online strategies to succeed in today’s business market. Our client was a hosting a summit to bring together businesses in the Accelerate with Google program. Although many other businesses in the program could not attend the event, our client wanted to share the experience of his summit with other businesses and the rest of his team at Google.
We came equipped with a small and nimble team to the Accelerate with Google Summit to capture the highlights of the event along with some sound bytes from the participants. Our team was like the Navy SEALS: quick, mission orientated, and unobtrusive. We interviewed our client and some of the summit participants to craft a narration of the events of the day and some insights gathered through the workshops. All of our footage and sound bytes were then gathered and edited to create an engaging and informative conference highlight video.
Our lead contact for this project shared this video internally with his co-workers to motivate and inspire them to produce similar events at their sites. It was received with warm responses and succeeded in reinvigorating his team. This video has also been shared on the program website to help recruit new businesses to the Accelerate With Google program.

This is the first time the Conclave team used a drone to incorporate aerial footage. If you look closely, you can see NASA Ames Research Center in the distance. We are grateful that our drone was not shot down!
Our opportunity to work with Google actually sprouted from a volunteering collaboration. One of our colleagues needed help to film an event but was working with a limited budget. As a favor for our friend, we helped him with his production needs. In turn, he sent the video we produced for him to his entire network. One of the people to receive the video worked at Google and just happened to be looking for video production team. Badd bing, badda boom.
